In diesem Prozess erh\u00f6ht das Oxidationsmittel Oxidationszahl der anderen Substanz. Wasserstoffperoxid ist eine sehr instabile Verbindung, die schnell zerf\u00e4llt und so Sauerstoff zur Oxidation freisetzt.<\/p>\n<h4>Katalase<\/h4>\n<p>Katalase ist ein Enzym, welches in vielen lebenden Organismen vorkommt. Seine Hauptfunktion besteht darin, Wasserstoffperoxid zu zersetzen. Dies geschieht durch die Beschleunigung der Zerlegung von Wasserstoffperoxid.
